PRODUCERS, CONSUMERS AND DECOMPOSERS

PRODUCERS: Living things that make their own food from Sun, water and soil. Green plants are producers.                                                                                         

  CONSUMERS: A living thing that cannot make its own food. All animals are consumers and get their energy by eating food.                                                           

                                                        

DECOMPOSERS: A living thing that gets its energy by breaking down dead plants and animals. The most common decomposers are fungi and bacterias.
